The Beagle camera is a camera specifically designed for 3D printers, with the optional tripod or various mounts available for download from thingiverse and others you will no doubt find what you need, the camera controls all printers in the list below, with more added constantly.
Time-lapse has options for clean (move print head out of the way) or normal where you see the head move.
